Beyond Bridges

The picture above was taken by Eugene de Salignac who I only discovered this year through an article in the London Sunday Times (May 13th to be exact). When I looked it up on the web, – I found that The New Yorker had done an earlier piece on Eugene in February of this year. In a single image, the picture – taken in 1914 – seemed to encapsulate all that Beyond Bridges is about, so I thought I would share …
